There’s just somethin’ about cute twinkly lights, they put a smile on my face! So I have come to a conclusion, which can easily be summed up into a single, factual statement.

*Ahem

FACT: pretty lights > the standard bulb.

I originally saw this DIYable project on Pinterest. My roomie and I can’t stop crafting so we decided to give our lovely abode a mini-make over, and these lights we’re a part of the festivities! We did decide to deviate a bit from the original instructions by using plastic cups instead of paper, and covering every other light with a cup (more twinklies to be seen!)

We’re pretty pleased with the results :)

Finally, I feel the need to throw in a Harry Potter quote, because who doesn’t love quotes? And Harry Potter!
